Pastor Christopher F. Hartwell is a third-generation preacher/pastor and serves as founder and senior pastor of Crossroads Community Church in Pearland Texas. He was first licensed to preach the gospel by Rev. R. R. Hartwell in 1990, ordained in 1993, and began pastoring in March of 1994.
Pastor Hartwell’s endeavors include equipping and empowering a multicultural community of believers and nonbelievers. He has implemented timeless principles that are culturally relevant while encouraging economic, social, and spiritual growth. He is a bridge builder that meets trans-generational needs through biblical teaching. His Christ-centered messages of reconciliation and redemption are timely for this post-modern generation.
Pastor Hartwell is a graduate of Houston Baptist University with a double major in Christianity and Sociology. Pastor Hartwell currently holds his Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry (MATM) from Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Hartwell earned his Doctoral degree in Biblical Preaching at Anderson University in 2023.
Pastor Christopher F. Hartwell is blessed with three daughters Kristian Victoria, Destiny Vashti, Charity Iman, and a son Christopher Chance. Dr. Hartwell is honored to be a grandfather of two, Legend and Noelani. Pastor Hartwell is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.
